Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips Review

I know this post seems a bit random, but I thought I would share it with you anyway. I feel like this product is something you see on the shelf all the time but never get around to trying. Well, I have tried them out for you!

I bought mine from Superdrug (click HERE to view), I have seen them in Boots as well. They cost £8.39 which are quite expensive, but I stock up when they are on offer. You get 6 in a pack.

These pore strips are only to be used on the nose. If you have blackheads on your nose, these pore strips are designed to get rid of them: they also remove any built up dirt and oil. They contain Witch Hazel and Tea Tree Oil- both these ingredients are known for their amazing skin benefits, and they make the strips smell very nice!

“Bioré® Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, formulated with tea tree oil, witch hazel, and menthol, lock onto deep-down dirt and oil that can cause blackheads, and they clean out pores even better than before so you get the deepest clean. Don’t be grossed out by what you see on the strip. Unclogged, invigorated pores are a good thing.”- Biore

The actual strips are very well shaped; they have little slits so they cover your nose nicely and are easy to apply. To begin, you have to wet your nose, peel off the plastic, then stick to your nose. You have to make sure your nose is wet because it won’t work if not. It takes 10-15 minutes for the strip to dry, it becomes very stiff. When the time is up you need to peel it off….ouch! That’s it!

Even though I don’t suffer from blackheads and never noticed any before, I still peeled some off. You can see the blackheads on the strip, bit gross. It just goes to show it does work, even if you think you don’t have any blackheads to remove! They are supposed to remove dirt and oil as well, but I didn’t see any on the strip…that’s a good thing I guess!

To summarise, these do work! There is something oddly satisfying about getting rid of your blackheads! They also do a charcoal version of these strips, I would like to try them out next. Other products by Biore include charcoal cleanser, pore minimiser, self-heating one-minute mask, oil control scrub etc.

Question: Have you tried these pore strips before? Did they work for you?

  1. I use biore pore strips too, but I’ve been using the charcoal ones, I loveeee them so much! I definitely would try these ones, I think I could use a deep cleaning one every now and then!!! Thanks for the review!

  2. I love these!! I’m so sure I’ve included a picture somewhere on my blog of the gunk left on the blackhead strip cos I was so fascinated. LOL. Sorry TMI but yes, I’m that girl. These really do work though but I try to use these very sparingly so I get the most out of each strip.
