Yankee Candle Fall In Love Autumn Collection 2017

If you have been following my blog for a while now, then you’ll know I’m a complete Yankee Candle addict! Yankee Candle release four new collections a year in line with the seasons- I can’t quite believe we have arrived at the autumn collection already!

I really liked the fragrances they released for spring and summer, but my favourite time for candles is in the autumn and winter: I love feeling snug and warm inside when it is cold outside with candles creating a cosy ambience.

When a new collection comes out, new candle accessories are also brought out to match the theme. I bought this beautiful gold mirrored candle tray for £12.99; it looks really nice when you see the reflection of the flame.

Let me know if you have smelt these candles yet, and what you think of them. Yankee Candle website is linked here.

Mulberry & Fig Delight (Fruit)

“A tempting bowl of fruit brimming with juicy mulberries and fresh-picked figs.”

I ordered one of these candles, but I got scent (get it?!) two by accident. I am always a fan of fruity fragrances, as long as they don’t smell too artificial and sweet. It’s true, this candle smells just like a fruit basket in autumn filled with seasonal fruit. Since having a fig scented reed diffuser, I have been loving the smell of fig.

  • Top notes: Blackberry, Sun-kissed Fig and Raspberry Leaf
  • Middle notes: Red Plum, Apricot, Peach and Dewberry
  • Base notes: Tonka and Vanilla Bean

Vibrant Saffron (Food & Spice)

“Discover the warm and vibrant sweetness of saffron infused with the softness of vanilla”

Saffron is a very expensive ingredient that I have cooked with before- I don’t remember what it smells like, though! My boyfriend wears aftershaves that remind me of this candle, they are very similar. I really like how this candle smells, it is definitely a unisex fragrance. Dare I say it, the note of cinnamon reminds me of Christmas.

  • Top notes: Bergamot, Cinnamon Leaf and Star Anise
  • Middle note: Saffron
  • Base notes: Warm Wood Accord, Vanilla Bean and Amber

Autumn Glow (Fresh)

“Earthy leaves swirl with golden sunlight and woody patchouli—like a walk through the forest in autumn”

I have been struggling with what to say about this candle, to be honest. To me, it is a hybrid of the three other candles because it has notes of fruit, flowers and warm amber. I like the picture on the candle because it signifies it’s a fresh natural fragrance: it reminds me of stepping on crispy leaves in the autumn.

  • Top note: Sparkling Citrus
  • Middle notes: Autumn Blossom, Fresh Cut Herbs
  • Base notes: Patchouli, Tonka Bean and Golden Amber

Warm Cashmere (Fresh)

“Wrap yourself in luxury with sumptuous notes of calming sandalwood and exotic patchouli.”

I have saved the best for last here! The white coloured Yankee Candles are a firm favourite of mine, such as Clean Cotton, Fluffy Towels and Soft blanket- they just smell so comforting to me. Without a doubt, I would buy a full-sized candle in this fragrance because I am in love with it!

  • Top note: Sun-kissed Orange
  • Middle notes: Cashmere Wood, Golden Amber and Cardamon
  • Base notes: Creamy Sandalwood, Sueded Musk, White Patchouli and French Vanilla

  2. I love yankee candles, I’ll have to check out these scents! I remember near one Christmas there was a candle burning in the yankee shop which smelled just like something sweet baking in the oven! I had to remind myself I couldn’t eat it!
