I went shopping the other day, so I thought I would share with you what I got. I didn’t go to look for anything in particular, it’s just nice to have a walk around sometimes. I have been on a bit of a spending ban recently, so I didn’t go too wild with my purchases. Norwich is the closest shopping destination to me, so I went there.
When I go shopping, I am always on the lookout for new homeware items. As I haven’t been shopping for a while, it was nice to see different stock in all the shops. All the homeware items below are from Wilko which is one of my favourite shops for homeware. Everything I bought is for decoration purposes, but they will also double up as props for blog pictures.
Knitted effect plastic basket- £2.00
White hand towel- £1.25
Light up word block- £8.00
Pineapple trinket dish- £1.50
Mirror candle plate- £1.00
Artificial succulent- £4.00
Decorative balls- £2.50
I used to stock up on beauty items such as makeup and skincare, but I only buy what I need now and use one thing up at a time. I buy most of my beauty items from Superdrug either in-store or online. I just used up my mascara and eyebrow pencil, so I repurchased the same two products again. I also decided to treat myself to a high-end hand cream from L’Occitane for the first time (it will be featured in a blog post soon).
L’Occitane Shea Vanilla hand cream- £8.00
Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara- £8.99
Maybelline Master Shape brow pencil- £2.99
You might have heard me mention before that I only ever buy new clothes when they are on sale! I also like to buy from clothing brands that are a bit more expensive, but that means the clothes are excellent quality and last a long time- Fat Face and Joules are two of my favourite shops for providing this. I bought a long-sleeved top from Joules, and a t-shirt and a jumper from Face (in the sale, of course!).
Joules long-sleeved top- £14.95 (RRP £24.95)
Fat Face t-shirt- £12.00 (RRP £25.00 )
Fat Face jumper- £20.00 (RRP £35.00)
