I have my pictures for this post, now it’s time for the words! I didn’t plan on doing this blog post, but after my visit to park and many pictures later, I thought it would be silly not to do a post.
A Walk In The Park
One Saturday, not so long ago, it was a lovely sunny Autumn day and I wanted to make the most of the day, so my boyfriend and I decided to visit the park: we went to Eaton Park in Norwich (Norfolk, UK) as we hadn’t been there before.
It is a big park with lots to see and do for every one of all ages. There is a building called the pavilion where we enjoyed a coffee in the quirky little coffee shop before we began our walk. The pavilion is a very interesting building that was built in the 1920’s, live music acts perform there sometimes.
As we made our way around, we saw people enjoying themselves and having a good time doing all that the park has to offer: there were young people playing football; ladies out for their morning jogs; people walking their dogs; children playing on the skatepark and people just out for a stroll like us. There is also a boating pond, a crazy golf course, a rose garden and a lily pond for people to enjoy.
Outfit Of The Day
When we went to the park, it was an unseasonably warm for October, so it was nice being able to wear something autumnal without having to wear a bulky coat. I have a smart but casual sense of style and tend to stick neutral colours, so I feel like this outfit depicts my style perfectly.
A few weeks ago I bought a new blazer from H&M (not available now), I fell I love with it as soon as I saw it on the mannequin- I got the last one, yay! I love that it is black with a white grid design all over; I also love that it has big pockets you can throw your hands into. I also got these little black ankle boots on my shopping trip, they are super light and comfy to wear.
I teamed my new purchases up with some old wardrobe favourites to complete the outfit. The jeans I wore are black skinny ones from Jack Wills, they are the best jeans ever in my opinion because they fit perfectly and are hard-wearing. I love stripes, so I wore my black and white striped long-sleeved top from Primark- I wear it ALL the time! I finished the look off with a pretty mustard coloured scarf from Joules- a scarf is essential in the autumn to add a POP of colour.
