A Day At The Zoo: Banham Zoo

Since the start of summer, I knew I wanted to visit the zoo, so I was happy when I eventually got the chance to go in August. I went with my boyfriend because adults enjoy the zoo too!

There is a zoo less than 10 miles from me called Banham Zoo (Norfolk, UK)-  I visited two years ago and fancied another trip. There is a car boot sale every Sunday at the zoo, so we took the opportunity to sell some of our unwanted items, then we headed to the zoo.

The zoo is set in 50-acres of land and is home to more than 2000 animals, so there was plenty for us to see and do! Here is a map of the zoo so you can see what it’s like:

If you are interested in more information, you can check out the zoo’s website out here. I would like to share my pictures with you so you can see all the lovely animals!

  1. Well, that took me back a few years! Last one I went to was Whipsnade with younglings now grown up. Had a nifty narrow gauge steam train that took you on a safari loop.

You captured some cool photos in this trip Emma. I often think for many of us we overlook places that sit on out doorsteps in favour of longer distance “must be better” things. So good to see you talk about a local (to you at least) day out.

  2. I love the zoo!!! Looks like you had a lot of fun and you have a really pretty zoo you can visit. The one closest to my home is not that great, but omg I do love to go. I need to go to the zoo again soon
