Bloom & Wild Flower Review

If you’re like me and you like to treat yourself to some beautiful flowers sometimes, then Bloom & Wild is the website for you. I usually buy flowers from the supermarket, but I fancied something different this time to spoil myself.

Who are Bloom & Wild?

Bloom & Wild is essentially an online florist. You can order one-off bouquets, or arrange a subscription- I haven’t tried the subscription service before, so I can’t comment on how it works.

There are lots of different bouquets you can choose from for you or your recipient: there are arrangements in different colours and price ranges to suit everyone. If you are sending flowers to someone as a gift, you will receive a free gift card that you can personalise with your own message. If you’re willing to spend a bit more money, you can have chocolates, biscuits or a cuddly toy sent with your flowers.

The flowers are neatly packed in a long slim box so it can fit through your letterbox easily. This is very handy because most people aren’t at home during the day, so you don’t have to worry about where the postie will leave your flowers (although, mine were left in my safe place).

The people over at Bloom & Wild are able to flat pack your flowers because they are still in the bud. Delicate flowers (like roses) have individual nets over them, so they have extra protection. Everything is done to ensure your flowers will last as long as possible.

You can select which day you would like to receive your flowers, or you can select next day delivery if your order is placed before 5:30 pm Monday-Friday. Bloom & Wild offer free delivery on all orders.

The Bouquet

After much deliberation, I picked the Harper bouquet which costs £30 (I had a 20% off code so I got mine for £24). You can buy a bouquet for less than this, but there are also some which cost more. I liked these flowers the most because I love the pink and white contrast. There are 20 stems including roses, pink snapdragons, alstroemerias and delicate foliage. I found that the flowers were easy to arrange, even for a novice like me. The flowers were a little bit limp when they arrived, but they soon perked up once in water with the complimentary flower feed.

I am very happy with my flowers from Bloom & Wild, I recommend them to you. They make a lovely gift for someone special (or for yourself!). I have had them in my bedroom for 5 days so far, they are a pleasure to look at, they really brighten the room up.

  2. I love the idea of this, brilliant that they can be posted through a letter box as when surprising somebody you don’t always know they are going to be in. The flowers look great and fresh once you’ve arranged them.
Will have to take a look at this website!

  3. I recently received a bunch of Bloom & Wild flowers and was very impressed, too, so much so that after a week I ordered some for my sister’s anniversary. At first, I thought they looked a bit ‘flat’ when emerging from the box but they then suddenly come to life with a lift – I think because they must be so fresh! Yes, would def use them again. I also like the fact that they are sort of ‘meadow-y’ in style. Love!
