My January Sales Shopping List

I have to say, I do enjoy the January sales because I am a bargain hunter! Well, I say January sales, the deals are known to start on Boxing Day. Like I’ve said many times before, unless I REALLY want/need something, I only buy things at a reduced price- because, why wouldn’t you?

Before the sales roll around, I recommend you write a list of things you might want to purchase. If you do this, you can set yourself a budget and won’t miss out on things selling out.

None of these things I necessarily ‘need’, but this is the one time of year I like to treat myself. I am going away on a shopping trip to Cambridge soon to fulfil my list- I’m looking forward to it!

What do you hope to buy in the January sales?

1: Gold Bracelet Charm (Pandora)

I’ve had a Pandora charm bracelet for a couple of years now, but it’s taking me a long time to fill it up. I like to buy the two-tone charms which are kinda pricey, so that’s why I haven’t got many charms. I like to buy them in the sale when prices can go as low as half price. I’ve picked out a solid gold charm for this post because it’s so pretty!

2: Bath Bombs (Lush)

I LOVE bath bombs from Lush! They only have ONE sale a year and that’s on Boxing Day. In the sale, you will find all the festive products half-price until all the stock is sold out. I wait all year for this, so I always buy SO many bath bombs (sad, I know!).

3: Colour Block Jumper (Fat Face)

There was a time when I wasted so much money buying clothes all time. I have cut back now and only buy what I ‘need’. The kind of clothes I like to buy are from brands that I know I can get good quality items from. Fat Face is one of those brands; I especially like their range of knitwear (soon to be on sale, hopefully!).

4: Real Techniques Brush Gift set (Superdrug)

I need some new makeup brushes; mine have seen better days, to be honest! I am a big fan of Real Technique brushes because they are affordable and reliable. In Superdrug, they do a range of Real techniques gift sets for Christmas- I know as a fact they are half price in the January sales.

5: Leather Crossbody Bag (Fossil)

I haven’t had a bag from Fossil before, but I have got a couple of their purses, so I know it’s a good brand. Their bags are pretty expensive as they are made from leather, but it’s worth it in my opinion. I really like this little brown crossbody bag; it would be perfect for me.

6: 2018 Diary (Kikki K)

I can’t remember the last time I had a diary, to be honest! I would like one this year though so I can use it to organise my blog. There are so many different diary designs out there; you have to pick a good one as you have to look at it for a whole year!

7: Christmas Candle (Yankee Candle)

If you know anything about me, then you’ll know that I love Yankee Candles! Usually, just before Christmas, Yankee Candle put their festive candles on sale on their website. They always sell out quickly as they are half price- I missed out last year!

8: Soap & Glory Gift Set (Boots)

I specifically ask people not to buy me toiletry gift sets for Christmas, because I like to buy them myself in the January sales. Some of my favourite gift sets include the Soap & Glory ones from Boots- I stock up for the year!

9: Black Skinny Jeans (Jack Wills)

About a year ago, I found the perfect pair of jeans from Jack Wills. Since then, I have six pairs in different colours- I only ever wear Jack Wills jeans now! My black ones are a little bit faded, so I would like to pick a new pair up in the sale.

  1. These are handy tips – especially about Lush (which I didn’t know about) and Yankee Candle (will def look at website). I’m after a circular leather handbag – niche I know but there’s a nice one on Anthropologie which I have my eye on!

  2. This is such a good idea, Makes sure you don’t end up with a load of stuff you’ll never use. I’m quite bad at buying stuff for the sake of buying it, the sales can be very tempting!xx
